coach alex grew up in columbus, oh. Playing at every level in youth hockey, from house, to single a travel, aa travel, eventually making it up to the aaa level his u16 year. in college at otterbein university, coach alex got his start with coaching a youth hockey program as co-lead instructor, learning under a nhl skills coach. while attending otterbein alex was co-founder of the otterbein university club hockey team. building the program from the ground up, alex was a player coach. during this time, coach alex started traing his own clients and helping out a local high school with their summer program. eventually parting ways with the youth hockey progam, alex kept training his clients. wanting to see if what he taught worked, coach alex started to train himself. eventually landing in the federal hockey league, coach alex brought his video progam to life. he played two years of professional hockey as well as a weekend stent the following year. After hanging up the playing skates, he brought a5 skills to life. coach alex now offers private lessons, group lessons, team lessons, a video review program and summer camps.
